Customizing Tables with Color

Objective: Choose a new background colour and a border colour for at least one table on your wiki site.
Colour combinations have a way of making pages very attractive. Judicious choice and resistance to extremes in usage or hue will enhance the appearance of your pages.

1. Right-clicking a table affords many opportunities to give your content a particular look and feel. For example, you can change the table background colour, using the colour-picker in the right-click menu:

1. Click on the multicolored circle. A box with a variety of colour shades will appear.
2. Click on this button and slide it into the general area of the colour you want. The colour palette on the left of the slider will change, presenting several different hues, Click on the one you like. You can always change it later.
3. This is the .html hexadecimal code. If you know the exact shade you want, or can find it on an HTML Colour Picker chart, you can type the code here and save the guesswork.
